Join Us on Saturday, April 18 for Shred Day at our Wallingford Branch
Join us for Shred Day on Saturday, April 18, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at our Wallingford branch at 159 S Turnpike Rd. This is a free community event open to the public and a great way to safely dispose of sensitive documents while helping protect yourself from identity theft.
We’re pleased to have Iron Mountain on-site to provide secure shredding services during the event. Participants may bring up to 3 boxes of paper documents to be shredded, including old financial records, bank statements, medical documents, tax forms, and other paperwork containing personal or confidential information.
When you arrive, please park at the Finex Credit Union Wallingford branch and bring your boxes to the designated drop-off area. Our staff will be available inside the branch to assist with sign-in, answer questions, and help make your visit as easy as possible. We’ll also have light refreshments available during the event.
In addition, we’ll be accepting non-perishable food donations for Connecticut Foodshare. Donations such as canned goods, pasta, rice, peanut butter, and other shelf-stable items are encouraged.
